Katlyn Moonan, LLMSW, MSW
I believe that each person is the expert of their own life. My role is not to steer the journey for you, but to walk alongside you as a supportive passenger while you remain the driver. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space to process challenges, heal, and grow.
I work with individuals ranging from young teens to adults and older adults. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Drawing from my background in social work, I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate life’s challenges while reconnecting with themselves along the way.
My therapeutic approach is primarily client-led, meaning sessions are centered around each client’s unique goals, needs, and pace. I believe therapy should feel personalized, collaborative, and meaningful. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques based on what best fits each individual, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), talk therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.
Seeking support can be one of the hardest — yet most meaningful — steps a person can take. My goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and more connected to who they are throughout their healing journey.
