Angela VanBlaricum

Greetings, please allow me to introduce myself; I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I also attended Central Michigan University for my master’s degree in professional counseling and graduated in 2023. I offer in-person or telehealth visits. I have extensive experience working with trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, stress, and family conflict. I believe that counseling should be a collaborative effort in which the therapist and the client work together to achieve the client’s goals. It is important to lead a happy and productive lifestyle through positive growth and change. I would like to lend a listening ear while also being active during sessions. I believe in head-on confrontation of unfavorable thoughts or behaviors and providing therapeutic exercises that will result in successful counseling. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, and I have substantial knowledge in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and many others. I look forward to meeting you wherever you are at in your journey!
