Hi there, my name is Emmy and I am a Limited Licensed Counselor; I offer in person and telehealth mental health services in the state of Michigan. My professional history holds 11 years of full-time working with both individuals and group dynamics prior to becoming a counselor.
My philosophy is to support you in your journey of deeper understanding of how you move through your life and experiences. You are the expert on your lived experiences, and my highest value is to remain curious of those experiences as we navigate co-created goals and desires for your understanding, growth, or healing of them. Your unique context, identities, and worldviews are core to our co-created goals for your counseling. I enjoy working with folks of all genders, races, religions, sexual orientations, socioeconomic status, and communities through theories such as person-centered and internal family systems with an attachment/neurobiology based lens.
